Statement of Faith
At B3, our faith-based principles and values guide us and are fundamental to our treatment philosophy and ministry. Our beliefs serve as the foundation for our work. We hold that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We affirm that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has revealed Himself through creation, history, and through Jesus Christ. We believe in God's act of creating the world and humanity, as well as in humanity's rebellion and inherent sinful (self-centered) nature. We believe in the person and work of Jesus Christ, encompassing His divinity, virgin birth, sinless life, humanity, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and His promised return. We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ as one's Savior. We believe in the current ministry of the Holy Spirit in salvation, through whom believers are empowered to lead godly lives and to deepen their understanding and practice of Scripture's principles. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal judgment. We believe in the unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and recognize the importance of the church for worship, service, and community. We uphold the significance of marriage and, although the Bible permits divorce in specific cases (adultery as stated in Matthew 5:31; and abandonment in 1 Corinthians 7:15), we will strive to preserve the sanctity of marriage. We believe in the sanctity of life. We hold that all psychological principles should be evaluated through the lens of Scripture, which always has the final authority. We believe that life's trials can lead to grief, and that healing from these trials is found in the authoritative Word of God.
